Post Birthday - Day 1

Well I survived another year.  I never understand those people who don't celebrate their birthday.  I tell everyone.  I also don't understand those who bring their own treats to work on their birthday.  Not this girl and everyone I work with knows.  They throw me a pot luck.  I hate traditional pot lucks so this is an Emily style pot luck where Jorge our resident chef tells everyone what to bring so that it will complete the main dish.  This year was echilada's, spanish rice and homemade salsa.....and Boston cream pie for dessert.  YUM!!!   Thank you peeps.

Love this picture of Marla peeking out behind Leah.  They play very well together right now.  This is the top of the stairs where Marla prefers to play.  Once Leah starts moving I question if the playing well together will continue.  Time will tell.

Updates from the homefront are that both girls have croup.  Yuk!  Poor girls.  Leah still will not roll over but sits up on her own now and her constant jibber jabbering is now in falseto. Silly girl.  Marla and Daddy and I went to Disney on Ice last weekend and had a really good time.  I am thankful for my Marla's gracious heart.  She is always so thankful for the thinks we do and give.

This is Paul and Marla waiting for the show to start.  See that icey thing Marla has?  $15!!!!!!!!!!!   What a racket they have.

Anyway, all is good and I had a very nice birthday being pampered by my family.

Have a good one. FYI - I can't spell....or prefer not to care about it anyway.  Blogger spell check is not currently working so my lack of caring about spelling will show in this post more then usual.  Don't let it drive you crazy.....mom.  =)
