Weekend Recap

We were in Zhu Zhu HELL!!! So my master plan back fired on me slightly. She loved them but I had a splitting headached after day 1. They are LOUD and constantly moving. By end of day 2 I think I became immune.......well I still have dreams of gleefully hearing the crunch of a Zhu Zhu under foot.

"Whoop whoop" Ask Marla what her favorite food is...."FRENCH FRIES!" everytime. But do you think the girl will eat a potato not in french fry form to save her life.....that would be NO.

Look at these lovelies. My sister raises chickens and I envy her fresh egg supply. I found a local lady who raises chickens and bought some fresh eggs. Can I just tell you how wonderful they are. Marla laughed hysterically when she saw brown eggs.

"Mommy that is so silly, where is the white?"

And since we had farm fresh eggs I just HAD to make them for dinner.

So I pulled out my new favorite cook book. Every thing is so simple and fresh in this book. I don't know about you but I am needing simple and fresh food after the last couple months.

So for dinner I ate this..... Bottom of dish is 2 slices of viginia ham, next I added sauteed tomatoes and garlic and topped with a farm fresh egg then baked. Seriously good food!!!!!
